  • Temple grounds built into an old forest. Lots of moss covering everthing beyond the pathways and halls. Volcanic rock with interesting formations. buildings and monuments hidden deeper and deeper in the forest. You need at the very least 30min to see the main stuff, much more to discover, enjoy and picture everything. Oh, there's a nice, new, big Kannon statue in the first hall.
  • It is totally worth it to find your way here. Explore the expansive gardens, ponds and even small caves.Be sure to climb the stone stairs up the cliff for a great view! The little cafe inside has nice tea sets and is atmospheric.
