Takeda Shrine, Kofu

3.9
#1 of 19 in Historic Sites in Kofu
Dedicated to an enshrined 16th-century samurai, Takeda Shrine offers blessings to samurai warriors who gather here for the annual samurai parade. With some 1,000 cherry blossom trees, the shrine features a large "kagure," a Shinto theatrical dance outlet featuring occasional performances, and a carp pond where you can feed the fish. You can also spot black-crowned night herons in the garden. A small museum inside the shrine features Takeda Shingen’s weapons, armor, colorful battle standards, and other personal belongings. You can also see Kamakura-period sword, listed as a national treasure, on display at the shrine, which sits eight minutes from Kofu station by bus or taxi. • It is nice to take a walk, because it is a quiet place. Include fee-based. Cannot be issued and not through a parking ticket for parking, so be careful.

  • Like most shrines, so the Takeda shrine has also its nationalist traits: after the Japan Russia war, this shrine of the Taishô has been commissioned by the Emperor and completed in 1919. I personally find embedded in the nature - it - very aesthetically.

  • A pebble to the left of the environment. On the anthem is sung [Iwao of the Pebble and becomes covered with MOSS before] of precious stones still sees a penny to watch and I was impressed. Saw the pebble in the other place [Iwao and pretty] until the, and grows up to Moss was a collection of rocks, but this is exactly what [the moss until] 見remashita. Also tend to Miss things or feel and watch while thinking about it, but I got the power.

  • lots of cherry trees along day from Kofu station. its a good 30 min walk up the hill but its really nice in spring. there is a nice view from the gate downhill (a cherry tree avenue) and across the city.
  • Beautiful shrine and surrounding area. Nice to walk around and take lots of photos!
  • Well kept, ample spaces to walk around, beautiful cherry trees.
  • In fact are combined into a compact but why broadband-go shrine feeling (* ́ω ' *) development environment and feels nice. Embroidered with nokyo-sho book here in the black armor Shingen. Nokyo-Sho, types can be charged directly and hundreds have two separate types onimaru San cutout is printed together. Is very cool (* ≧ ∀ ≤ *)-might free environment aside.

  • Great shrine was not impressed. It is good feeling. Man's Castle. In the words of Shingen was fascinated. Suikinkutsu, little good if the flow of water and was... Of chickens on the side courageously to bamboo ear, also focusing on a sound kokekokkoo-the laugh loud. And the beautiful stage. Nokyo-sho had us write and 2 types of illustrations Shingen sitting up and standing printed one. ★ dogs are okay, but buggy went ride home. ★ car park is free of charge.
