  • The Park of Maizuru castle is very easy to access, it is located about 500 meters Southeast of Kofu station. This is the historical site of Kofu Castle, unfortunately destroyed, but that gave way to a nice Park, and in which there are some fortifications and architectural elements (door, annexes). Founded in 1583 by the Tokugawa Clan, he was one of the important strongholds in the Japan. The main tower has become an interesting point of view on the Fujisan and the mountain range surrounding the city. The Park is very nice, especially in the period of spring and the flowering of the cherry trees.

  • Now leave the Kofu Castle, spacious park. Plum blossoms are blooming now, even the buds of cherry blossoms was swelled. Cherry blossom season is fun. Is a nice Park with a sense of openness.
