Where to stay in Kofu

Kofu boasts easy access to downtown Tokyo by train, so naturally most of its accommodation options cluster around the main station. You can choose from a number of two- and three-star hotels, or basic inns and guesthouse chains, most offering amenities such as breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning. Most lodgings put you in a central location, with quick access to the city sights from your room. Alternatively, explore the number of onsens (traditional hot spring resorts) located around the city.

  • JR Kofu station nearby. If you go to this day in the square next to the train station food event is being, lots of food stalls, there was very lively. Scent of the Meiji era, giving of souvenir shops, restaurants, Museum, etc. Very wide streets can feel free to, but tourists are much not so. Like "time Bell" tower is the symbol of this path and press the button on the front of the Tower rings bells only for 20 seconds. Try to experience what sounds they make.
