Katsurahama Beach, Kochi
(3.8/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll along Katsurahama Beach, a picturesque stretch of sand lined with tall pine trees. A small shrine on top of a jutting rocky cliff offers scenic views of the crescent-shaped beach and the thunderous waves crashing against its shores. View the statue of Ryoma Sakamoto, a famous Kochi samurai, have a picnic, or visit the small museum and aquarium. Swimming is prohibited on the beach, due to the dangerously strong currents. Put Katsurahama Beach into our Kochi tourist route planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Visited on the day's calm, but the sound of the waves of sand was pretty powerful. Sandy Beach is very beautiful. Pacific horizon only a romantic feel.

  • Kochi travel finally bit out and came. Or was I would 外senai if you come to the place. Is in place, no such trash beach is beautiful and touristy development is the sea and raised in Pacific Beach, so felt everywhere together were been fighting Center (not feeling very fresh), and dog walk is full of scratches, periods of dogs like I was running at once. If you go once, it is punished enough.

  • Oughta make sure not to get to the beach parking and then no, trash or cigarette butts on the beach, not less than animals with beautiful, big sandbox, feeling it was.
