Harimaya Bridge, Kochi
(1/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Known as a source of inspiration for artists and lovers alike, Harimaya Bridge features in numerous hit songs and movies. This 20 m (65 ft) red arched bridge stands side by side with the surrounding department stores in the heart of the city. Torn down and rebuilt many times throughout history, the tiny bridge is the setting of an old local folk song, in which a Buddhist priest buys a hairpin for his sweetheart. Look for the monument to this song at the foot of the bridge, which draws scores of tourists. Make Harimaya Bridge a part of your Kochi vacation plans using our Kochi itinerary planner.

  • Spot come out well, came to Kochi, famous song would better go to see so. Go all the way for transportation, so rather than look at go near is enough. The harimaya bridge, is a bright red as harimaya bridge or sense of difference is a large stone next to the bridge does not. Once across the intersection of harimaya bridge on the West side, Timmy (I should speak to him) stone.

  • Japan three harimayabashi, is disappointing given to sites. Went to the dare without checking anything, but still very compact, and was surprised. I'm a lovely bridge, very well put. And water is not flowing like? If not 1 is satisfied.
