  • Ueshima coffee's in Yokohama (Kanto region) in art coffee in the outskirts (ginnrei) and Kobe (Kansai area). It's just a port of any period of national seclusion even famous in the trade. And that's where the coffee culture is developed.

  • A nice small museum that shows the history of coffee and the evolution of the coffee drinking culture. A very informative place that shows coffee around the world and also about UCC coffee too. There's even a coffee tasting session and at the end a coffee quiz to earn vouchers. There's also a nice cafe in the place and serves exquisite coffee. Overall a good experience and place to visit if you like coffee.
  • Whether you're a coffee lover or coffee hater, this is a must-go place while in Kobe! It wasn't crowded at all on the Thursday I went, and the 300 Yen ticket provides the entrance fee and free tasting. A quiz at the end will even provide you a year's free membership, provided you get all 5 questions correct (3 tries total). Don't worry if you don't know Japanese - there's an English audiogude that you can follow with, provided you have a smart-phone. Overall, it was an informative, interactive, and interesting visit!
  • You love drink coffee? You want to extend your knowledge of how it made? You should visit this great museum there is all steps from seed till cup is reviewed
  • Definitely a 100% must visit if you are a coffee lover! 300 jpy for entrance fee, includes a coffee tasting and a museum guide on your phone. Learnt so much that day!
  • Interactive museum with great details of everything coffee related. From history to coffee-themed books, roasting proccess to free coffee tasting. A great place for coffee lover!
