  • It was moved into the building previously was in the building near the capital, two years ago, is spacious, clean, good staff. In humans, Maeda in a one minute short film narrative of a Carpenter and a description of how to use the master carpenter Mr. Nishioka, can experience the materials assembled, no one could touch exhibits and not familiar with the building easy-to-understand exhibits, as well as exhibitions of Carpenter's tools; Exhibits highlight of Toshodaiji Kondo full-sized model. Chisels and Mallet-shaped strap or a pencil sharpener or sold in the Museum Shop, doubles as a souvenir. It is a place located 3 minutes ' walk from Shin-Kobe station, so you want stop come, wait for the bullet train.

  • Fantastic museum! So much information which is all displayed beautifully. And the entrance fee is very reasonable. Excellent English guide that is both audio and visual on a little iPad which is free to rent for your visit. A very relaxing setting too, make time to just sit upstairs and look out at the garden. My favorite part was the partially constructed teahouse. This is one of the best museums I've seen in Japan.
  • Free rental of tablet device video and audio guide and. Volunteers have been on holidays am just commentary is recommended. Just tell me the more enjoyable and deeply or question, or answer questions or talk about your own experience and depth of tools, there was excitement in the great discovery.

  • Introduces Japan carpentry skills and tools or experience in the exhibition and demonstration video as well. The Carpenter's tools in the beautiful crafts 見harimasu eyes. Once the closing time without noticing the time exceeded is the staff watched from afar, I feel miserable. Better had multiplied the voice.
