  • Do you believe falls to meet bullet train down the walk of 5 minutes? Go up the stairs and followed by ontaki waterfall, waterfall and several waterfalls. Waterfall, nunobiki reservoir holds water for Kobe citizens during the Meiji era. And go completely fallen leaf is good even when fresh, seasonal waterfalls and river flow looks good.

  • The easiest way to get to the falls is to go behind Shin Kobe Station via the walkway underneath. Do not go up to the Herb Gardens and then try to walk down after the mid-way station. That is a fair h...  more »
  • You can go up the road near Shin-Kobe. Is not too great falls has become Kobe's attractions.

  • The best treasure we've found in Japan so far, combining culture, beauty and nature all into one! The hillside has numerous well-constructed and lighted pathways that takes us into many pleasant surprises. A lot of local folks walk/hike here daily - with quite a bit of professional attire and equipment for uphill hiking all the way to the reservior! The Kobe sightseeing bus has a stop at the JR station at the foothill where the path begins. We chose to walk here from the Sannomiya Station (~30min stroll), which took us into many interesting, local sights. We will definitely keep coming back here whenever we can!
  • A nice, quiet, quick hike from Shin-Kobe station where we found the path way for the falls. Amazing how you can see the city but are transported into a green forest for some peaceful quality time to yourself as needed.
  • I'm sure it would have been lovely, but the trail is closed due to wild boar activity... which wasn't written anywhere until I got up past the lower ropeway station.
  • We got lost..but after an additional hour we found them great area to hike nice falls
  • Nice walk into the forest. The waterfall and the View are worth all of the hard work. It's unforttunally not allowed to have a dip in the water :)
