  • We saw the falls from the ropeway on they way to the top station and it was breathtaking. On our next trip we will definitely walk up to it and enjoy a closer look. Well worth the trip.  more »
  • A nice, upward but short hike up a hill behind Shin Kobe station. The entrance to the path is on the ground floor of the station. The entrance looks like an entrance to a parking lot. Once you get on ...  more »
  • One of the best nature spots that we had in the places that we visited in Japan. Just outside Shin-Kobe station, a short walk will get you to the first of the 2 big waterfall viewing spots, a bit of t...  more »

  • It’s a small waterfall with fresh air and great views. I drive to the point google map guild me, and I still have to walk about 10 minutes to the river. There are all stairs that makes me very tired. Only few peoples there, only some travelers and local hikers. You may only stay 15mins there.
  • Best appreciated from Shin Kobe Ropeway. It was a rainy cloudy day when we visited but we were glad we made the effort. Access is easy from the train station. We went to top of ropeway . The car holds 4 to 6 people but it was not busy so we had the cable car to ourselves. The views across the city to Osaka when up the top are great. It is very cold at the top, take some warm clothing. The herb garden is pretty but it would not be worth the trek just for it. There is some food available and toilets. You can walk down or catch return cable car. It would take over 1 hr to walk. It could be slippery good shoes necessary.
  • Perfect scenery just a short walk from the Shinkansen station. Can recommend for a short stopover. If you have more time even better! There is even a small nice bar after going up further, from which you can have a good view on the waterfall with a beer. A scenic view of the city is also very close. If you move further up there are gardens, where you could basically spend your whole day.
  • Hard to imagine of experiencing this kind of a nature hike which is situated right behind the Shin-Kobe Station. There are lots of foreign and local tourists and you can actually feel the comfort of nature while climbing the hills. Though it requires a little high amount of physical activity, definitely worth paying a visit.
  • Wonderful set of falls. Feels like you out of the bust city for a while.
