  • Hard to imagine of experiencing this kind of a nature hike which is situated right behind the Shin-Kobe Station. There are lots of foreign and local tourists and you can actually feel the comfort of nature while climbing the hills. Though it requires a little high amount of physical activity, definitely worth paying a visit.
  • The hike is negligible, 10 minutes at most at a fairly relaxed pace. The falls are beautiful, and worth seeing, since they're so easily accessible.
  • The down hill walk from the herb garden is a relaxing stroll along a well kept path through lovely tranquil woods
  • The most tremendous mountain stream, closest the Shin-Kobe Station(7min on foot), reached by the firstest shinkansen train(285km 177mile /h) from the capital Tokyo, only in the world.
  • The best treasure we've found in Japan so far, combining culture, beauty and nature all into one! The hillside has numerous well-constructed and lighted pathways that takes us into many pleasant surprises. A lot of local folks walk/hike here daily - with quite a bit of professional attire and equipment for uphill hiking all the way to the reservior! The Kobe sightseeing bus has a stop at the JR station at the foothill where the path begins. We chose to walk here from the Sannomiya Station (~30min stroll), which took us into many interesting, local sights. We will definitely keep coming back here whenever we can!
