  • i've seen more impressive waterfalls hence this one didnt really blow me away. we saw this whilst on the cable car ride up towards the top of the nunobiki herb garden. i think it would be much better ...  more »
  • I loved the chill of the coming winter as I walked though the path. I was delighted to see a group of special needs children and their parents/educators on the trail. Really brought back fond memories...  more »
  • Near Shin-Kobe, so guests can ride before. It might be said, is often difficult. I recommend hiking equipment. Can be reexamined mountain town near enough, is out to Arima Onsen. Wild boar comes out sometimes.

  • The best treasure we've found in Japan so far, combining culture, beauty and nature all into one! The hillside has numerous well-constructed and lighted pathways that takes us into many pleasant surprises. A lot of local folks walk/hike here daily - with quite a bit of professional attire and equipment for uphill hiking all the way to the reservior! The Kobe sightseeing bus has a stop at the JR station at the foothill where the path begins. We chose to walk here from the Sannomiya Station (~30min stroll), which took us into many interesting, local sights. We will definitely keep coming back here whenever we can!
  • A nice, quiet, quick hike from Shin-Kobe station where we found the path way for the falls. Amazing how you can see the city but are transported into a green forest for some peaceful quality time to yourself as needed.
  • I'm sure it would have been lovely, but the trail is closed due to wild boar activity... which wasn't written anywhere until I got up past the lower ropeway station.
  • We got lost..but after an additional hour we found them great area to hike nice falls
  • Nice walk into the forest. The waterfall and the View are worth all of the hard work. It's unforttunally not allowed to have a dip in the water :)
