Mt. Maya, Kobe

(4.5/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Head up Mt. Maya to gain extensive views from its prominent peak. Rising to an elevation of 698.6 m (2,292 ft), the mountain represents one of the major summits in the range, in both its height and popularity with visitors. A lot of this popularity comes from accessibility, with a cable car service whisking you up to the top. Alternatively, you can take the easy, pleasant hike up. The city and its coastline below form a memorable sight, and the cable car service means you don't have to worry about making it back down before the light goes. Put Mt. Maya on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Kobe vacation builder.

  • From the mountains at night to look at student since return from Arima Onsen is a little late, so stopped in the Maya Mountains. Might have been annoying a couple but a lot are a busy family and may have children who was impressed by the beautiful night view. Lookout a little walk from the parking lot but still is somewhat difficult, but necessary in a couple hours or even (lol) I might be.
