Kobe Port Tower, Kobe

Observation Deck
Soak up panoramic views from the top of Kobe Port Tower, an icon of the city's skyline. The structure remains famous for its hyperboloid lattice structure, reminiscent of a Japanese drum. From the observation platform, you can witness views reaching as far as the peaks of Mount Rokko and the distant Senshu region. A glass floor reveals a 75 m (246 ft) drop and provides additional vistas to enjoy. See the city from different angles at the revolving cafe, rotating a full circle every 20 minutes, time enough for cup of something hot. • It is one of the most famous spots of Kobe and we enjoyed the view very much! The walk around the harborland is also highly recommend!  more »
  • Things shine at night as I thought. Looked at from so far away so close no good impression.

  • While the admission price is one of the least expensive city towers I've ever experienced, when you're on a budget, every bit counts. Our friends wanted to do this and the views were admittedly cool. ...  more »

  • Pretty typical city tower. Good view of the port area which is beautiful.
  • The admission fees was a bit pricy, but worth it. The view will be much better if you visit during evening time
  • Another famous symbol of Kobe located on the Kobe waterfront in Harborland. Nice views of the waterfront area from the observation deck. The admission fee is a little pricey for what you see. Great photo spot!
  • Lovely and iconic place in Kobe. Can take a good photo of Kobe Port.
  • My wife and I toured here in the spring 2015. Kobe was our last day. We hung out here around the water front and just relaxed. The place has unquie architecture that was pleasant to take in.
