So I went on a weekday evening enjoyed it smoothly. All art is like many, quietly near the enjoyed. I think because I thought what to do because it had a bit of baggage, an orphanage near the entrance, where guests can relax in return from shopping. Easy access to close to Sannomiya Kobe has a lot of art, but the Museum is located in the perfect location.

Impressive exhibition of Western art and art-related. The building itself is of smaller ones is an exhibition with plenty of content, can be. Walk from the train station, 10 minutes or so, is a featured spot in Sannomiya. Detailed website, exhibits etc.

Visited the Special exhibition on Ancient Greece and the regular exhibition. The entry price was a little steep for Japan and after paying we were notified of the following : 1.NO BACKPACKS 2.NO DRINKS ( This included carrying one in your handbag ) 3.NO PHOTOGRAPHS In terms of displays and artificacts, there was nothing especially unique or interesting that you cannot see elsewhere in Japan and the Greek Exhibition took 15 minutes to see everything. Near the end they will try to sell you overpriced souvenirs.Such as an eraser for 900 Yen or some hand lotion for 4000Yen.Best tovisit another museum.

Price was high. Had to pay before got information that nothing available in English

Interesting museum. Rather expensive entrance fee. The English information is present but limited so you won't get the full experience in just English. The rotating exhibitions can be quite so I recommend going if the exhibition looks interesting to you.

If you have any interest in how opening ports to the west impacted Japan, this the museum for you. They have wonderful English descriptions on most of the exhibits. The mid nineteenth century machine that creates permanent hair waves is worth the price of admission.
