  • Visited Kobe City Museum to see the exhibition "ancient Greece". Valuable exhibits and went long before ancient Greece civilization developed, and remain tools of that era, ornaments and statues that surprised and impressed. Museum building era, was exceptional from the contents from the great Western building.

  • Museum exhibit that demonstrates the history of Kobe looked interesting. * Clan was not necessarily a Kobe finely subdivided in the Edo period, learned for the first time.

  • As well as the special exhibition, and display tools of the permanent exhibition of national treasures (bronze) and Edo, including spectacular. So tired on you can watch so there are a lot of benches for resting and relaxing. Clean the coffee shop in the food menu is small but nice atmosphere, I take a NAP. Coin-operated lockers (type come back 100 yen) is just at the entrance of the Saturday day had sold out just as I entered the crowded lot. On the second floor is Western-style toilet. However I think is on the second floor for women and for disabled persons only had. No dishwashing or paper towels, handkerchief is required.

  • Interesting museum. Rather expensive entrance fee. The English information is present but limited so you won't get the full experience in just English. The rotating exhibitions can be quite so I recommend going if the exhibition looks interesting to you.
  • If you have any interest in how opening ports to the west impacted Japan, this the museum for you. They have wonderful English descriptions on most of the exhibits. The mid nineteenth century machine that creates permanent hair waves is worth the price of admission.
  • Great
  • Nearby tourist destinations such as nice and also the contents of the exhibition, China town. Especially Egypt, Greece of the exhibition is always satisfied. Museum shop and may devise various shop in Kobe and collaboration.

  • Not permanent enough NANBAN art is selling the unintelligible. NANBAN folding screens both Nobunaga and Xavier on the real final. It consists of contributions from individuals of Office work. I think it is contrary to the wishes of Mr. Takeshi ikenaga NANBAN. There were other posts about staff and lacks a sense of urgency. Because it was amazing just published by the Museum of namban art selection catalogue stars, one bonus was. That much is not a Museum and stop by when you have time. If you go make sure look before we recommend from.
