Kitano-cho, Kobe

3.7
#3 of 8 in Neighborhoods in Hyogo Prefecture
Plan a walk between the different buildings of Kitano-cho, a district notable for its "ijinkan" (Western-style homes). Built by American and European traders who settled in the city during the late 19th century, each home possesses its own character and references to the Western origins of its owner. Spot the weathercock atop one house, now something of a symbol of the area as a whole, and take tea in the English-influenced tea room, surrounded by fine porcelain and antique furniture from the Victorian era. • Very Western-style store would think. Could feel the life time of the recent art? With was no longer difficult to see mixed full collaboration, or different things. A little cheaper with discount tickets and gain entry. You're going not going to immediately open and slowly see in a lot of people.
