  • It is usual to climb from the side of National Highway 163 along the Kizu River, but you can also visit the ridge on foot from Yamashiro Forest Park and Jindoji. I was able to taste the training culture of the mountain temple.

  • Located in Kyoto Prefecture but closer to Heijo Kyo than Heian-kyo, the Nara period is a temple with a history dating back to the time of KyojinKyo Construction. I had seen the signboard on route 163 along the Kizu River, but i was passing through it while i was worried about a lot of passage in the evening and night. When you turn the national highway, suddenly, the distance is a little, but the road that can not pass by the full lane. It becomes a road with the waiting place in the rice field at once. When you follow the sign and enter the mountain path, the slope becomes tighter and tighter, is this really good? It was a little uneasy, but it arrived at the parking lot before long. It was a special public such as the 11-sided Kannon-tate statue which is the in-house honhon of the interior of the usual private in honbo by the roof thatch edits and the seismic reinforcement construction of the main hall this time. Depending on the time of year, you can also see the five-story pagoda of the national treasure. Moreover, the time of the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves seems to increase the number of worshippers coupled with a special public in a beautiful scenery, but there were not a lot of times when I visited this time, and i was able to enjoy the garden and the view quietly.

  • The cherry blossoms are beautiful in the temple grounds of Kaijuyamaji Temple. The person can do slowly with few people, too. You need to be healthy to walk. If you're going by car, it's different、、、。 There was a friend who had been in a bad condition of the clutch when going to The Sea Juzanji temple 、、、 and boy. Such a "Potsun and Yamaji temple".

  • An amazing temple in the mountains south of Kyoto, best accessed by car. It is on the course of temples containing images of the Eleven-Headed Kannon. It has a number of points of interest, including an ancient life-sized wooden statue of Kannon that can be viewed exceptionally up close; and an architecturally interesting pagoda from the Kamakura period. Situated on the south slope of a mountain, its name derives from the resemblance of the hills in the landscape below to islands in the sea. Highly recommended, very quiet, and only 100 yen admission.
  • historical temple with great view
  • ▪ One of the most castellan in the Minami Yamashiro area where you can reach the finally by climbing the steep mountain trails even the car is panting. ▪ The five-storied pagoda and Bunshu-Dou have important cultural properties such as cathedral and Buddha statues in existence, and there is a lot of highlights, and it is a small place to look up from the stone steps to the smaller "gate" and quietly stand in the distance "gate" vivid to the impression. ▪ start walking from the foot, going up the "slope of the sigh" seems to be lasting forever, the first to greet the "gate" or as "mental scenery" ~!? ▪ Aside from walking hikers and students, the use of a car is recommended as much as possible, and with careful driving to the end! ▪ A 30-minute walk from JR Yamato Line Kamo Station to "Kaizan Teraguchi" by "Community Bus".

  • Mt. Shingon sect, Mountain is the supplement. The Temple of the Sea was founded in in order to pray for the peace of the great Rushanabutsu Buddha construction work in the imperial decree of the 45th Emperor of St. Takeshi (735) six years before the construction of Kyojin Kyo, it is transmitted to the beginning to have made it to the Temple of the ten-sided Kannon Bodhisattva, and to have done the Fujio mountain Kannonji. 3 years (1137) I lost most of the woes, but in November 2 (1208), I moved to the ruins of this ruin by the one who was the savant of the southern capital Buddhism of the Kamakura period which worked for the revival of the Buddhist priest in Nara Kofuku-ji who was in Kasoji which escaped from the famous, and was the temple of the Edo era. The name of this temple was likened to the pure Land of Kannon-like in the Sea of Nankai. The upper person is a dojo of the law by setting up the Kofuku-ji in the mountain of the school by teaching the disciple, "it is not a person of the self succession who desires the riches honor". The high priest such as the great Compassion Bodhisattva Satoru Eizan son and Toshodaiji Temple of Okamasa Bodhisattva in Saidaiji will be produced from this Tsuniya. The quintet of the Precincts of the Temple (National treasure) was erected in the two years of the Kenho (1214), which was the anniversary of the Sadqing people, in order to pay the stupa from Toji, Toshodaiji Temple, which was consecrated from the Gotoba-in temple. Although the building is small, it is well known in architecture that the woman sprays floor and the point where the heart pillar is stopped in the first layer especially is made elaborately. As another important cultural property, principal image ten-sided Kannon statue is in the main hall, Bunshu-Dou, five-storey pagoda statue of four, to Hon-bo, garden, sea-dwelling temple document, auspicious scroll. The Okuin temple houses the ten-sided Kannon statue (Okuin-principal image), the Yakushido, the man of liberation and the tomb, and many other treasures. From the spread centrally, you can see the whole area that was once called the bottle Hara. Transportation access is from JR Kamo Station to Nara Kotsu bus (Wazuka Kosugi), and the third bus stop Okazaki is a 40-minute walk away. Because it is the hillside of the mountain, it is considerably hard. In the car, Route No. 24, National Route 163, on the Komaeda Nagito 4-chome intersection to the east 2 km to the north of the sea-dwelling temple entrance to the mountain, relying on the guide board aiming at Iroha-Zaka. There are steep roads and narrow roads, so please be careful when driving.

  • The mountain issue is reminiscent of the Fudaraku Sea of Kumano in Mt. Fudaraku. Topographies The temple is on the hillside and the Kitsugawa flows in front. The Kizugawa was an important river in the waterway traffic. I think that it was an important temple as a place of the safety praying and training which faced the capital.
