  • "Japan only" sandwich-type Castle"" catchphrase, upon hearing the first meaning was not understood, but once it was going through. On the heights of the two and sandwiched between them so I was on the road through the valley town of. That contains the old town district are also in Japan, but here was interesting is its three-dimensional structure. Inevitably there are up and down stairs, so lame and may be kinda hard to old people. We recommend that you take a leisurely stroll.

  • Castle town going up and down the stone stairs. Kimono-clad foreign tourists passed by many. Terrible place wall of pain, but is good state of preservation.

  • Has a very good mini-museum with a lot more material and artifacts than most castles in oita and Fukuoka.
  • Cute small castle in centerpiece of this Samurai town.
  • Mainly came to see the samurai streets. Was not disappointed, two streets both running off a main road to ridge lines overlooking the Main Street, then running along those ridges. Many buildings were open and free to inspect. The castle stands at the end of one of those ridges and is about 10 minute walk . It is a tiny recreation but sits on a hill with fantastic views.
  • Fantastic views of the town from here.
  • Great view point overlooking the city and sea. Kitsuki history understandable and time-honored culture here. I think it sees a castle of Northern Kyushu is Oita is also a lot of go pretty feet stretched hard may! Easy to reach from the hirado Castle!
