  • Has a very good mini-museum with a lot more material and artifacts than most castles in oita and Fukuoka.
  • Cute small castle in centerpiece of this Samurai town.
  • Mainly came to see the samurai streets. Was not disappointed, two streets both running off a main road to ridge lines overlooking the Main Street, then running along those ridges. Many buildings were open and free to inspect. The castle stands at the end of one of those ridges and is about 10 minute walk . It is a tiny recreation but sits on a hill with fantastic views.
  • Fantastic views of the town from here.
  • Is speaking out more, keremashita! Views from the 3rd floor was beautiful. A natural way to reach the castle was beautiful. Free Wi-Fi is the best!!
