  • That magnificent view of Kitakyushu and Yahata station from taxi (bus number is low (cancelled all flights on weekdays) so work time by taxi is recommended: fee is 800 yen to 900 yen) in go funicular cable car and slope car and went up to the top. We have fine across the kanmon Strait. Cable and slope car fares are both fit 1200 yen.

  • Holiday travel to colleagues and went in. Aboard the funicular-Switzerland steep slope and slope rare car, aiming at the Summit. I think it is very good and eating lunch in the staff's views at the Summit was of course the lawn.

  • Really pretty at night. Ride a cable car and monorail, compared with Charley in Nagasaki, also in more fun to watch. It's the best for the both ends of the cable car seat the seat is very good and the monorail is an alarm clock static burn as quickly as possible with a view to this night.

Where to stay in Kitakyushu

Kitakyushu boasts a good number of accommodations to host its relatively modest amount of visitors. Primarily located across the canal from the city hall, the choice includes a number of high-rise hotels and simple "ryokan" (guesthouses). Take a look to the north of the main train station for the most luxurious options in town, with extensive views of the sea and the old buildings of the dock. Holiday rentals provide a particularly budget-friendly option further inland in the main residential districts.
