Osaka Station City, Kita

#7 of 112 in Shopping in Osaka
After undergoing extensive renovations, Osaka Station City has emerged as a town-sized commercial complex and one of Japan's most highly regarded stations. Across the two flanking high-rise buildings, you have hundreds of high-fashion and specialty stores, along with a hotel, a variety of restaurants, a department store, and a multiplex cinema. In addition to shopping and entertainment, the facility also affords spaces for relaxation: journey to the top of the North Gate building to explore a picturesque roof garden and take in panoramic views of the city. Pause for a moment on the connecting bridge between the two buildings to watch the comings and goings of the trains below. • There is a place where Korean tourists do not come very well, but from the department store side, the escalator is up and over to see the train. It's hard to see anywhere else. What's looking at Seoul Station

  • This is the gateway to Osaka, where many people come and go. Design was futuristic and i thought it was like a little science fiction movie. &☕ bought and ate.

  • This structure is next level grand, and is Japan's multi-storey take on a major transport interchange like New York's Grand Central Station. With a bustling mall snaking around all these different lines, I am in complete, supreme awe of the architecture and planning this complex has to offer. One day you could be at one end of the building, the other you're on the other side.
  • Osaka Station has to be one of the best stations in the world. Linked with a shopping mall, the upper floors offer great views over the city for free. Best visited here at sunset (golden hour) where the city looks awesome. The architecture of the building is also very memorable. Would recommend others to visit here.
  • The most crowded station in the city, you also can shops, and go for food, and many good place around the station
  • The best railway station I have ever seen seen. Easy to access for tickets. Available hotels to stay, restaurants to eat, malls for shopping.
  • Christmas season they will decorate on upstairs. Once a hour or half hour this light will do show with music. Have a place to sit but full of people so might be you can’t take clear photo. As you can see my photo ... Not a massive place but if you are in Osaka station might be it’s good to visite this area.
