  • I have been to Japan twice and have visited Nihon Minkaen both times, and both times have been fascinating. I have never been able to see every building. It is amazing to see how preserved these homes are, and the staff are wonderful. We were allowed by special permission to go into some of the areas otherwise off limits, and staff even provided a small grass origami to us this time. The walk is beautiful and relaxing and it's usually very quiet. I strongly recommend this place to anyone and everyone visiting Tokyo as Kawasaki is only about an hour away and very simple to get to. You won't regret it if you enjoy history and culture.
  • A nice escape from town if you don't have the time to get out of town entirely
  • A convenient place for hiking in the city with observation platforms offering good views.
  • Very large park and there are art museums ,folk house museum in its area...
