  • The temple is very local and small and off in the woods. If you are not in the area I would recommend making a trip out but if you find yourself in this part of Fukui prefecture and have some time to ...  more »

  • For the moss lovers, this shrine can't be missed. Personally, I loved it, it's among the 10 best religious places I have ever visited and surprisingly, it's quiet and relaxing... I wonder even why it's free, maybe because this place is really about the gods?
  • moss garden
  • It is beautiful Lichen shrine. Environment widely nearly covered with forest, moving environment is difficult. However, staff development, walk is covered with beautiful Moss comes in the firmly established, does not walk where is Princess Mononoke. Also you can see, the blooming trees of Sal trees in the garden at the back of the Office (admission 50 yen) in Fukui Prefecture here not only (for the priest), and good luck.

  • It is beautiful Lichen shrine. Didn't feel very beautiful pond called the power spot. Was not familiar with the field are scenically lined with white stone. It might be better you on cobblestone. Than it is significantly beautiful surrounding woods and mosses. How to manage I think. I can't go to a Palace and not climbing mountains because it is. If you happen to one day visit to the Summit, the stars want to fill another. A holy ground ~, and felt.

  • Stunning MOSS that visited. Admired stands behind the Hall of worship in the rainy season, Moss was the main building and sculpture. Is it worth going to see in the main hall alone there.
