  • I went in the car, but surprisingly, time consuming, inconvenient access. But worth a visit and was very pleasant and the Museum.

  • In Japan for the first time is the dinosaur Exhibition Center and Museum was. It is down long escalators and compliments as well as Tyrannosaurus Rex, reproduces the dinosaurs more than 40 whole-body skeleton exhibit and dinosaurs forest diorama is amazing. Here is something like Dinosaur Museum one of the world's. Dinosaur enthusiasts is a place not to be missed!

  • Do you like dinosaurs? Do you like escalators? Do you like pretending you're a dinosaur capable of using escalators? Then you'll love the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum! But seriously, if you've somehow found yourself in Fukui and are the least bit interested in dinosaurs (even reptiles - even animals), then this place is worth checking out.
  • Great place for kids and families! But not so much for me. Not so far from Eiheiji temple.
  • Great for the kids, can rent translation devices if you need them.
  • It gets quite crowded but the exhibits are well worth it. The robotics brought the place to life. It's a good 2-3 hour visit depending on how much reading you do.
  • Totally exceeded my expectations. Try to avoid weekends, holidays, or Obon season to avoid substantial crowds. There is even enough English to learn quite a bit about the natural history of Japan in general and Fukui in specific.
