  • IRIS is located in a quiet residential area, but were really excited and IRIS Festival time area. Many have enjoyed relaxing with my family, partly because Japanese iris garden itself is small, but can enjoy free of charge.

  • Location had signs from outside the station much more clearly and confidently. In the space is clean, so many varieties, is fond of its name. Crossed in the Edo period, was made so naming sense is very strange, though irises 00 of hundreds had ligatures like the name you type. It was a feeling that came through the Office like a hydrangea trail way arrived, it had started raining in ten minutes, so it is also good. Metro a rotting House? And exhibition of insects described Suzumushi and cricket preservation society (festivals only), downtown Tokyo, Rice cracker shop so it did.

  • It is one of the popular sightseeing spot where the iris flowers are in full bloom from the beginning of June to the middle. Besides, flowers of seasons such as plum, wisteria, winter cherry tree and peony can be seen.
  • The park is closed for renovation until March 2018, but will open from Tuesday, May 30, 2017 to Sunday, June 18 for the Iris Festival. The opening hours are May 10 to May 29: From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. May 30 to June 25: From 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The garden is a sight to behold when the Iris flowers bloom. The whole city of Horkiri comes to life during the Iris festival when 14,000 flowers (100 different kinds!) can be enjoyed in the park.
  • Beautiful iris garden open from the end of May until mid-June
  • Horikiri iris garden IRIS Festival my parents and I went to (6/2012). There were a lot of people visit photo shoot on that day was the rain. And IRIS and planted many varieties, so there I was surprised. Best harvest was able to know the differences between IRIS, Japanese IRIS, Ayame. Stretched the legs because it was about 200 meters walk to the Bank of Arakawa. Once you have cloudy sky was near, flowers and sky take my father's favorite photos, seemed satisfied.

  • Far from horikiri IRIS Park station. On the way, no shade. There are many types of flowers. In the morning, but relatively few people!

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
