IRIS is located in a quiet residential area, but were really excited and IRIS Festival time area. Many have enjoyed relaxing with my family, partly because Japanese iris garden itself is small, but can enjoy free of charge.

Location had signs from outside the station much more clearly and confidently. In the space is clean, so many varieties, is fond of its name. Crossed in the Edo period, was made so naming sense is very strange, though irises 00 of hundreds had ligatures like the name you type. It was a feeling that came through the Office like a hydrangea trail way arrived, it had started raining in ten minutes, so it is also good. Metro a rotting House? And exhibition of insects described Suzumushi and cricket preservation society (festivals only), downtown Tokyo, Rice cracker shop so it did.

6/17 walk from horikiri iris garden visit Keisei electric railway takes about 10 minutes. Trails blooming hydrangea is on the way is fun. Horikiri shobuen can visit with free admission. Japan-style atmosphere. As widely in the garden's image is not the flower density and full bloom. As has been painstaking, flowers are often shape color is beautiful. Currently under construction is like can be a pond of water lilies and wisteria, etc.. It is fun.

The park is closed for renovation until March 2018, but will open from Tuesday, May 30, 2017 to Sunday, June 18 for the Iris Festival. The opening hours are May 10 to May 29: From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. May 30 to June 25: From 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The garden is a sight to behold when the Iris flowers bloom. The whole city of Horkiri comes to life during the Iris festival when 14,000 flowers (100 different kinds!) can be enjoyed in the park.

Beautiful iris garden open from the end of May until mid-June

Went for the first time were beautiful irises in full bloom. I think it was hard to manage this IRIS (6/9) is free but it. Doorstep along the Arakawa River so you can take iris flowers with sky.

So these three wide towns situated on the trendy name a variety of IRIS has been planted. We recommend fine-tuned what seems most gardens in Tokyo's 23 wards, but were small, so very stately ones mind, not visitors. Garden construction up to 30 year of Heisei, so only the flower season special opening.

IRIS Festival Saturday and Sunday during the period of tour buses. I note at least and two per hour. But after dining, residential, so quite hard. Staff have only one convenience store. A parade was held in a trench cut iris garden station during the period.
