  • Kashihara-Jingu Shrine enshrines the founding emperor "jinmu" first visit. As makes was a shrine of the first emperor and the environment is clean, even moved to the size of the width of the approach. A magnificent feeling like envelop to worship at the shrine, had impression that something significant, and the Grand shrine of Ise Shrine was also different from what. Curiously did not have achieved the feat of the Japan Foundation to be built in 0/1889, jinmu shrine, which also will have a chance as a Japanese would like to visit is. It is not to be missed are presented at the shrine next to the Takeshi Emperor record of one generation".

  • We literally stumbled on Kashihara Shrine by mistake. We intended to rent bikes in Asuka but they were too expensive, so opted to walk around instead. We followed the signs from Asuka station. Kashiha...  more »

  • A national shrine, as opposed to a local shrine, worshipping the Emperor -- Aesthetically symbolic. Overstaffed when most of the time not much happens here. Other than during special national events, rather quiet, dry, detached, uninteresting. Did not have a welcoming spirit. There are much nicer local shrines and temples elsewhere,
  • Visited this shrine in April 2016 when they had the Jinmu Festival - a superb evening production of laser-light performances on the roof of the main shrine! There's a tented food stall that sells udon noodles, etc. while you sit and wait for the evening show to start. Nestled in a vast, tranquil park and only a 10-min walk from the JR station.
  • One of the most famous shrines in the country. Grand, beautiful, historic; what else could you ask for. If you are in the area, you must go.
  • Beginning from Miyazaki, where the emperor began.
  • When you visit 2 times, cats and dogs ☔ was ️. Resting and relaxing both body and mind! In buying the talismans, 拙 of Kappa was whats the packaging carefully.
