Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
See an impressive natural feature at Shiraito Falls, a wide and pleasant waterfall located within a national park. Considered sacred during the time of the Fuji cult of Shintoism, the waterfall stands out as a scenic highlight of the park. With a width of 150 m (492 ft), the main cascade drops down the face of a cliff in thin white streams. The falls themselves have a hidden-away air, thanks to an array of greenery shielding them. During your walk up to the falls (just a short walk from the road), you'll see several stalls selling a range of souvenirs and snacks.
