  • Rental price 3,000 yen is quite cheap. Excellent snow conditions, important ski area. It is regrettable and closing restaurants. Pretty good hot springs had recommended to the local people.

  • Skunk cabbage is that Yumura Spa run by car, 30 minutes via ski and go deeper into the forest. Skunk cabbages were planted using the mountain terraced paddy fields were blooming lovely. Because it was about people who tell me things. Have seen the Skunk cabbage blooms near the back roads, elevation 700 m. Seemed to have just started to bloom when 3,000 symplocarpus foetidus, visited. Both can be visited free of charge.

  • Every year at the beginning of April and blooms all over bees hachikita Kogen ski field close to 6000 shares of white blooms. I found one of the few rare yellow blooms with purple Skunk cabbage. These flowers grow in paddy fields 20 years ago of 84-year-old grandfather had let the very funny stories directly from the grandfather he is (it is your sleeve here. Meet with local, ask if you can). It's a lecture is still very unique man associated with Skunk cabbage at the Community Center each year. It said are made and where stories come flush with the audience. It seems now, after the Skunk cabbages bloom japonicum now from mid-June. Want to come also.
