  • Very big ancient all wooden shrine with a huge tile roof. Located at the bottom of a small valley, it is a very peaceful place surrounded by nature and birds songs. All the park around the shrine is used as a cemetery, with a lot of variations in the graves styles and sizes. There is a big statue of Nichiren, the monk that inspired this shrine. The gate and main building have nice carvings, quite worth seeing. You can't get inside the building, but you can see. Visiting the place is free.
  • beautiful, can get very crowded in high season!
  • This temple in particular is very picturesque
  • Visit 10/11/2009. At that time, but was still so shrines & temples so not interested in heav'nly word more written on the Board such as shrines and store (nannteiuno) has taken in the photograph. It seems the heav'nly word resonates in the real. Photos taken at this temple then is this. Some are the words of Dr. Hinohara. The secret of this longevity is like.

  • Will differ from the Temple of the tourist can visit until late. Near the grave of the hiki clan who served Minamoto no Yoritomo's nanny, like history of the Kamakura period is recommended. It is wonderful also lit up at night. It is a temple to see this environment always has a cat, so I want to go.
