Amu Plaza Kagoshima, Kagoshima

Amuse yourself for a while at Amu Plaza Kagoshima, featuring a Ferris wheel mounted on its roof. Get in the all-glass gondola and take in the panoramic views of the whole city, and a glimpse of the sea and the volcano through the haze of volcano smoke. The mall, which features a light pink exterior and a large outdoor television screen, quickly became one of the city's landmarks with nearly 190 shops, fast food stalls, a gym with a swimming pool, arcades for children, and a theater on top floor. • The plaza situated at the city centre which is a popular shopping spot for both locals and tourists. You may also visit the Aeon shopping mall across the road.  more »
  • AMU Ferris wheel stands out in the center of Kagoshima City. Many AMU has Ferris come to Kyushu, and I think it's important. Have the shop in & quotamu Plaza Kagoshima can use daily such as SHIPS, BEAMS, ZARA. Strong ally in times of trouble with clothes on the road.

  • This is an fairly interesting shopping center. We just happened to arrive there, getting off the tourist bus coming from our cruise. Not much in terms of local goods or souvenirs for tourists.  more »

  • I passed through here many times from November 22-25, 2016. The Plaza gave me the first good impression of Kagoshima. The place was full of colours during the night anticipating Christmas coming. I especially felt the energy of the young and bright boys and girls in their engaging live performances!
  • The bottom floor called the garden has a supermarket (cheap prices) compared to other cities, lots of different food stalls selling savoury and desserts. The other floors are all shopping related. Also has a big electronics store in there. The complex is comnected to the kagoshima train station so it's very convenient if staying closeby.
  • A nice place for shopping, dining, eating lunch while chatting, playing games or watching latest movies - or just wandering around.
  • Always something happening here, often related to food. Quite extensive shopping mall alongside incorporating an extensive choice of restaurants and a cinema.
  • Huge. Lots of items and food choices. Great to spend your time on a rainy day.
