Where to stay in Izu

Izu possesses plentiful accommodations, with the established resort town receiving many domestic and international visitors each year. The most popular place to stay close to the city center remains the area surrounding Shuzenji hot spring. Onsite bathhouses, known as "onsen," use the naturally-warmed water from the hot spring in a range of spa treatments. You can find some more budget-friendly options here, but the emphasis remains primarily on luxury. Look along the regional roads that converge at Shuzenji station for more options, including guesthouses and hotels.

  • We are using caravan parks. Camp overlooking Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji from autosite No16 and No18. However, attention is required during busy periods some fewer number of toilets.

  • Located near the northern end of the West Izu skyline Dharma mountain is Mount Fuji know, great points. Mt. Fuji in Suruga Bay hip look was enough from spreading to larger, distinctly visible, emotional. It's no wonder that exhibited photos of Mount Fuji taken from here as a typical scenery of Japan in prewar New York Expo.
