Joren Waterfall, Izu

#1 of 80 in Things to do in Izu
Waterfall · Nature / Park
Cool off next to Joren Waterfall, located in the high forest landscape of the Kano River. Nestled among lush plant life, the waterfall majestically cascades from a height of 25 m (82 ft), and stretches 7 m (22 ft) across. The cool spray from the crashing water provides a nice way to cool off in the summer. Practice your fishing skills at many spots along the river, where you can catch trout. Wasabi plantations exist nearby due to the fresh and clean water from the waterfall. Taste some fresh spicy wasabi followed by a browse of the gift store.
