  • Museum by stone steps down to the Ocean Park, the water flows towards the one place. Until the triangular weight objects to align. Without the flame of peace will disappear at the tip of the object, from the 3-way flow, lights are also. We pray for peace.

  • Himeyuri peace Museum is shocking, but the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum photo and video is really shocking. While watching the pictures over to my son and I almost cried. Many photos would be too kiwadokute, dowload school materials, etc.

  • I think in the Peace Memorial Park in the main building. To display various things about the war, such as the testimony of the people who experienced the war. Makes me feel grateful that the misery of war, imagine this exhibit is not on actual experience, but peace.

  • On several occasions, I have visited this location, primarily, for photography. Inside the museum, photography is not permitted. The entire acreage, surrounding the site is quiet and peaceful. There are grim reminders of the effects of war and, a day tour, of this entire complex, would be a great requirement for all Americans, visiting the island. About one third of the population, of this island, was wiped out during WWII, some by Japanese forces and some by American fire. Collateral damage, would be the terminology, in today's language. Visit and, feel the pain.
  • Must see if you visit Okinawa, particularly if you are American military stationed here. It should give you a better impression of the relationship between the U.S., Japan, and Okinawa as you better understand the history and battle that was fought here in World War II.
  • Beautiful, scenic, quiet and gigantic area to explore. I would recommend visiting.
  • Spent the whole afternoon here. Moving memorial.
  • This is a "must see" if you are visiting Okinawa. First and foremost the park itself is a beautiful place for a long relaxing walk. However, the museum itself provides a look into the history of what happened here in Okinawa. If visiting please allow an entire day to experience the entire park. English is available (as are some other languages).
