Where to stay in Ishigaki

The greatest abundance of accommodations on Ishigaki sit in the city of the same name. Lining the island's south coast, a number of high-rise hotels and resort-style options provide standard to luxury rooms and additional facilities, including restaurants, spas, and pools. Budget-conscious travelers will want to check out the "minshukus" (hostels with private and dormitory-style rooms), generally located in the city, but on streets further back from the sea. The northern coast of the island has its fair share of accommodations too, following the same rules as the south, but without the same breadth of choice.

  • I don't think there is anything interesting to do here, as the bridge is not really interesting neither aesthetically, no in terms of views... It's just an ordinary industrial kind of bridge, a bit wo...  more »
  • There isn't really anything on the other side of the bridge worth crossing for. Worth a trip to see the port from a viewpoint.  more »

  • 這座橋看起來很新,通往外面的碼頭工業區、休閒公園綠地與休閒海灘,橋上的裝飾也不少。
  • It is in the sunset view at night or when it's good. When it comes to landscapes on foot or bicycle.

  • Big bridge Ishigaki City looks from both ferry across the nearby that can be. You can because there are no buildings on the bridge to view the sunset. (Note because it cannot see the sinking moment) after you cross the bridge you can go to the artificial island of feral cats
