  • House of the nobility of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Than had in mind was a little bit small. I think it would feel to live even today aspects, as the House at the time, was quite luxurious House.

  • ... a visit to Yayema village, where different types of traditional houses have been collected in a beautiful landscaped park at the edge of the mangrove (that you can go see up close). One can visit these houses, while here, we stay outside, but the garden is very pretty and it is the only House in-situ. Pleasant walk from downtown (covered shopping arcade) to get there. You learn more at the Museum (the second-last stop of the bus from the airport to the port). Very interesting Museum despite its dated side. Full information (in English) on the history and local life and the archipelago. Among others a model of this House and other information on its status as home of the regional Governor.

  • Step lower than the road where the House stood. It is 200 yen. Visit room from the garden is living now, so, please explain. Miyara was the private residence of the mailer DNS and to pronounce in the Yaeyama district head office in Yaeyama language. Such private construction in Okinawa are annihilated in Okinawa Earth against attack because the precious cultural assets.

Where to stay in Ishigaki

The greatest abundance of accommodations on Ishigaki sit in the city of the same name. Lining the island's south coast, a number of high-rise hotels and resort-style options provide standard to luxury rooms and additional facilities, including restaurants, spas, and pools. Budget-conscious travelers will want to check out the "minshukus" (hostels with private and dormitory-style rooms), generally located in the city, but on streets further back from the sea. The northern coast of the island has its fair share of accommodations too, following the same rules as the south, but without the same breadth of choice.
