The Kiso River is a river in Japan roughly 229 km long, flowing through the prefectures of Nagano, Gifu, Aichi, and Mie before emptying into Ise Bay a short distance away from the city of Nagoya. It is the main river of the Kiso Three Rivers (along with Ibi and Nagara rivers) and forms a major part of the Nōbi Plain. The valley around the upper portion of the river forms the Kiso Valley.Parts of the Kiso River are sometimes referred to as the Japan Rhine because of its similarities to the Rhine in Europe.

  •  Climb the Castle Tower of Inuyama Castle and Castle stands on the top of the mountain you can overlook the Inuyama Castle town.  And look around the Castle, on the opposite side of the town kisogawa flowed leisurely. I'm mountain Castle is located immediately behind Kiso River that flowed. It was a majestic River feel the size of the scale.

  • Me and friends took this path to look for onsen. The river has a nice natural view, despite the path was old. We went in winter, so can't comment much. If there is cherry blossom, i think it would be ...  more »
  • You could watch from the donjon. It was the flow of major rivers, so spacious. But it would be different if you hard even in the rain on the previous day. Come now had a cherry tree, so if you want to come to cherry blossom viewing season.

  • Nagano-River's main stream of the Kiso River system empties into ISE Bay, Gifu, Aichi, and Mie Prefecture through. Mount HACHIMORI in Kiso district, Nagano, village (2446 m) and southern water, which flows to the Southwest. Torii pass West towards the South from Mt. ontake flow flow after King come takikawa, forming a valley floor of berthing of the Kiso and nezame nakatsugawa-Shi, Gifu with West to turn the tide. Hida River and the confluence at the boundary of the Kani, minokamo city, out in the eastern part of nohbi plain from nakatsugawa city until the Kani formed ENA Gorge Fukazawa gorges, Suzhou water gorges and canyons. From Kani, Hida Kawai flow after again and form a Valley from near Inuyama-Shi, Aichi Prefecture Inuyama Castle, collectively called the Japan line, midstream was selected "Foxes" in 1985 (0/1985).
