  • Great location for view of Seto Inland Sea and Kurushima-Kaiyo Bridge, especially at sunset. The drive up to Mt. Kiro was single lane for both directions, so drive slowly and with great care. Limited ...  more »
  • To have shimanami Kaido Oshima from Matsuyama city at midnight across the kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge, turtle laoshan prospect Park. It is about foxes and raccoon seems to dash out and according to the navigation system and information boards runs mountain road in a rental car, a little narrow place and atmosphere. Departure from 4:30 about an hour after midnight so oncoming traffic and arrived at the Observatory. The views of the kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge and go up to the observation deck floating in the sky full of stars and dark. In the eastern sky has dawned and after 5 p.m., so navigate to the observation deck on the other side, quietly celebrated the dawn of the Seto Inland Sea of Okayama and Takamatsu area. Rising from the direction of Takamatsu, not fortunately the wind day, Shivering in the cold at the end of October, also could watch the morning sun. So just watch the Sun morning in the Seto Inland Sea is rising on the horizon in summer can be.... Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge once again return to the observation deck on the other side of the shining was impressed then. Shooting stars at this location will be on the inland side. Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge side seems kinda spicy in the lights of the city of Imabari. I like watching the sunset over the kurushima Kaikyo Bridge next time but this starry, night purpose visited.

  • From Imabari to Onomichi city visited the General tourist attractions. The view from here is just too beautiful. Shimanami Kaido is, without a doubt. I have visited almost all the observation deck of the Honshu-Shikoku bridges, here is the best. Coach is not staying only about 15 minutes. There is still best visited by car.

Where to stay in Imabari

The accommodations of Imabari sit in the main city center on Shikoku, as well as on the islands of Oshima, Hakata, and Omishima. Business hotels predominate in the main urban area close to the station, with standard rooms, pools, and onsite restaurants. The islands offer more variety and character when it comes to places to stay. Look along the coast of each and you'll find traditional guesthouses, known as ryokans, as well as a couple of larger resorts.
