  • My first experience of snowboarding in Japan, and I don't know if I just got lucky, but this was by far the best snow I've ever experienced - based on years and years of skiing and snowboarding in Eur...  more »
  • Last year purchased the ski snow on new year's day went to slip five days from 3/3, 下rosenakatta, driving alone. Pension owners who slipped together, but to buy pm tickets on the first day, without rest 2 hours and a half never skated. Because had snowed 20 cm, which enjoyed a comfortable skiing of course, no resistance, excellent condition, so to experience for the first time. Rose started hitting later walked out of the border towards the bottom of the course, and then snow and too much 3:00 PM so. Out of accommodation as soon as possible because the second day was clear and sunny on Saturday, skated in the ticket one day. Makurimashita slipping just skated only snow courses, so. Day had a griddle-baked omelet and fresh draught beers in the full House. Return to hot springs in madarao Mondale, so cheap. Last date am ticket 2 hours solid slip, lunch as soon as possible. Ate pizza in the restlanldorf, but I prefer crispy and delicious pizza. For three days the car 8 car really prone to go early, but is stopped at the stop, so Saturday and Sunday we recommend going at your earliest convenience.

  • 斑尾高原成為我心中的第一名了,整座山都是我的滑雪場,這個概念超棒,幾乎都可以滑,隨心所欲,有點像是北海道二世谷的感覺,卻只有他1/100的人....這才是享受!  more »

  • Nice little cosy resort. I really like it as it was not too busy. The nice cute lunch place was a bonus too. The only downside was that they cannot accommodate large ski and snowboards in the chief lift very well.
  • We had a lot of fun at this resort. We experienced some of the best snow of our lives here and it is incredibly affordable compared to past resorts. There are also lots of affordable places to eat scattered all over the mountain which always have tables available. The only downside is how busy it can become on the weekends/holidays.
  • Medium sized resort with a good deal of side-country, steep-slopes and beginner zones. Very scenic and highly recommended to slot in your itinerary if you're in the area (maybe more for backcountry?) Recommended for: - Tree-skiing, powder, steep slopes PROS: - Tree skiing is allowed in some areas (trees gladed) and very hands-off approach to off-piste in general - Decent amount of powder if you look for it - Great scenery; can get a clear view of Mt. Myoko and even the Sea of Japan - Well organized; beginners have their own areas and don't stray into advanced runs, - Fairly close to other main resorts like Nozawa Onsen, Myoko, etc. - Natural halfpipe/ravine area was fun and relatively gladed - 1 OK-sized park run (comparable to Naeba) CONS: - Runs are very enjoyable but aren't really too long for the most part - Need time to transfer lifts to get on top of the sidecountry area - Need to do a lot of lift transfers in general - Boarders beware; lots of steep moguls form quickly
  • Great mountain with some great powder runs. Not the biggest of resorts though. Rarely very busy and typically small queues at most lifts. Would definitely come back again, but not for a full week.
  • Overall a good place to board. A lot of versatile courses, and they have most of their lift and courses open. Its just that some of the courses there end at the bottom somewhere not close to the lift so sometimes you would have to walk a ways
