  • Trappist monastery is just a little inland from the route 228, towards the North City Centre, wood kikonai, Hokkaidō. From leaving the city of Hokuto city, on the left side of the window was visible across the Tsugaru Strait shimokita peninsula. Road from the highway to the Trappist monastery is also 1 km away is, what has become a splendid Avenue of Cedars. Parking is in front of the shop, something a even a few minutes on foot from there. Then get to the Red Gate. You could see the front of the Trappist monastery from here. Per, was surrounded by a sacred atmosphere.

  • Ryokan doyu station Oshima-tōbetsu preferred walked. Walk about 20 minutes away. (Hakodate and opposite side) to the old 内方面 of the trees along the coast about 5 minutes to walk from station, turn right and stretches of straight road to the monastery. Especially walking down the row of poplar trees progressively closer to the monastery is impressive. So single-mindedly through the Abbey itself, where on the Hill, walk about 15 minutes. Monastery itself is somewhat at the entrance to a room, no less attractions. I think it is worth even during a simple dignity and go.

  • From the coastline and soon a straight path. From the parking lot to climb a steep hill convent. Tour reservation is necessary for that. Visit here if you go to the trapistenu monastery,?
