Nature / Park
Watch sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, and ponies grazing freely at Makiba Park, a Yamanashi prefectural park with vast swathes of grazing land set against a backdrop of Mount Fuji and Mount Yatsugatake. Children can pet the animals by a pond, and you can learn about native Tokara goats and other local species from information tables. Keep an eye out for forest birds, and head to observation decks with white wooden fences providing views over the impressive surrounding scenery. Grab a bite at the onsite restaurant, which offers delicious hamburgers with fresh homegrown lettuce and tomatoes. You can make use of up to 82 free parking spaces at the park. • A nice park which allows you to let your eyes gaze far to the mountains. It's a relaxing atmosphere and kids will love the pet zoo.
  • Very nice views. Just touch the horses and sheep, can be enjoyed, but only a little jaded. Restaurants were very good.
