Makiba Park, Hokuto

4.0
#1 of 21 in Sightseeing in Hokuto
Nature / Park Ranch
Watch sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, and ponies grazing freely at Makiba Park, a Yamanashi prefectural park with vast swathes of grazing land set against a backdrop of Mount Fuji and Mount Yatsugatake. Children can pet the animals by a pond, and you can learn about native Tokara goats and other local species from information tables. Keep an eye out for forest birds, and head to observation decks with white wooden fences providing views over the impressive surrounding scenery. Grab a bite at the onsite restaurant, which offers delicious hamburgers with fresh homegrown lettuce and tomatoes. You can make use of up to 82 free parking spaces at the park. Put Makiba Park into our Hokuto itinerary planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Hokuto.

  • 3 small daughters visited with family. 3-year-old and 5-year-old daughter is excited, goats, ponies, rabbits and enjoyed. Spot is tired of walking staff, children play, to the 8 peak ranch experience!

  • I think the place where children can play without any inhibitions and have fun. Room to swing. See the majestic scenery and delicious ice cream. Too wide was circling around I can't touch or goats and sheep, or being chased. I never got tired.

  • 12:00 depart Shinjuku too, to visit SA and doodling while 14 o'clock makiba Park. Arrived at the parking lot, opened the door to a cool and rather cold-and said, satisfied. Eating ice cream lol sitting next to the goat, looking distant, dazed. If you get tired, you also want to go is likely to be. During the week that only the elderly person of okunikko. Where the animal was hungry. Though it is likely you can picnic chairs and tables. Second car parking Guide to follow and arrive at the Park. How many want to walk for the main ice-cream is absolutely recommended the first parking lot.

  • A nice park which allows you to let your eyes gaze far to the mountains. It's a relaxing atmosphere and kids will love the pet zoo.
  • And the main parking lot is on a large parking lot and retail stores and I broke up. To reach the large parking lot on foot come to the location of the main up and down considerably and exhaustion. Please note that. Soft serve ice cream sweet touch of understatement, was given to the children! Delicious ~.
