  • Long Street, across the street from and within walking distance to the North from JR Hiroshima Station Shinkansen exit of Hiroshima and the street within walking distance to the West, Toshogu Shrine is located on the grand staircase. There is of course installing car road, walking down the stairs, go up a pretty steep stairs, please be careful. When I visited there before the examination, there was a lot of EMA.

  • Be prepared to go up a lot of steep steps to reach the top of the hill where the temple is located. When I reached the top, I was rewarded with viewing a ceremony of what seemed lie a child's blessing...  more »
  • Wear your comfy shoes, their are lots of stairs, especially if you continue your walk all the way up the hill behind the temple to the Peace Pagoda.

  • Not the most impressive but nice enough. If you're not fit or have trouble going up or down stairs or hills, this is not the place to visit. Very close to the train station, maybe not walking distance but only a couple of 4 or 5 minutes by taxi. I'd rather take a few hours and go to Mitaki Shrine than here.
  • It is climbed up the long stairs, Tokugawa Ieyasu was revered shrine. You can breathe, rest chairs are placed. It is anyway a clean the exterior of the shrine.

Toshogu Shrine, there are many konko Inari Shrine also leaves two mountains peace pagoda clean cherry and Peace Tower is on a park bench with blossom. There are people who watch the fireworks from the peace tower when fireworks displays are held at ujina Park.
