  • Speaking of Hiroshima City and Hiroshima Museum is famous, but Prefectural Museum of art it is. Located in beautiful gardens in Japan say the shukkeien garden, and sold tickets for the Museum of fine arts and the set, go directly to the garden from the Museum of fine arts. I was able to enjoy the mountains in the garden. The hotel is the openness of the wide stairwell. The trade balance. Kodama would like artist from Hiroshima exhibition held during the visit that I enjoyed very much! Imari flower pots and with horses is not to be missed. Also equipped with Museum shop.

  • 3-storey building on the substantial part is vaulted 3rd floor from the basement. On the first floor's reception and shop. Second floor permanent exhibition, on the 3rd floor was used in the exhibition. Here with shots allowed and prohibited marks each. There are allowed to take. Dali's "dream of Venus" is a masterpiece of 244 x 488 cm. One of the Dali representing the dreams of sleeping Venus, his masterpiece. Alexander-car North "still life" is outstanding. Masterpieces never car North works was here first in Japan, but this picture is not uncommon in his works, should be called hyper-realism work, eeriness lurking behind the curtain or something like that, although peaceful poetic atmosphere.

  • Amazed by the calibre of artist exhibited: Dali, Picasso, Klee, Magrite, Moro, Kandinsky amongst others. The building itself is very well designed and was very peaceful when we visited. The Shukkei-en gardens are accessible through the museum with a joint ticket are beautiful. Well worth a visit!
  • Like most museums in Japan, a bit stiff and sterile. The selection of art was quite good. If art is your thing then this will definitely interest you.
  • We went to an M C Escher exhibit which was fantastic. Not sure if worth going if you aren't going for a specific exhibit though. Gardens are lovely too and worth a trip round... Lots of big carp being fed by an unusual bridge.
  • Very nice. I take it as bigger, accessible Adachi Art Museum.
  • There was a great Hokusai exhibition on when we went. The permanent exhibitions were also a good mix of traditional Japanese and western. The attached garden gets 5 stars however, the most beautiful I have seen in Japan so far.
