  • Tourist Center in hirosaki-Shi and its surroundings tourist information and brochures on the information. 1F is souvenir shop "Sakura House" restaurants "Annals" there. Corner of the 2nd floor Tsugaru lacquer is strongly recommended. Until the completion of 48 processes from making a meaningful, are exhibited. Festival floats Exhibition Hall has Wi-Fi, hirosaki Hachiman shrine Festival floats 7 and exhibits of Tsugaru perversely clad drums, is impressive enough.

  • The number of 4/27 to visit building big staff sit in a Chair less than I think. A Fey lack space like eating lunch, but hey-at least I. Not feeling rested gently. I think good to hirosaki in addition to go so there are pamphlets in neighboring municipalities. Shop and restaurant. Stairwells square in front of the building, sometimes doing the event.

  • Those who want to use a clean toilet hirosaki Castle next to the weary, a little break if you want, you want to buy, sit, recommended for a meal you want. Lacquer's Puffy because I was also on display.

  • Awesome place. Here you can see how modern technology was used to preserve a historically important monument. Also very well designed for setting around. The interesting thing is that they actually shifted the whole monument from one place to another and yet it is preserved.
  • Castle is nice but very small. Also stairs in castle are very hard to climb. Take caution! The surrounding area is very beautiful. Recommended to see during cherry blossom festival
  • Well recommend in late April. One of the most famous cherry blossom spot in Japan. You can see great view of Iwaki mountain over there. However Hirosaki castle is very small.
  • The castle grounds are beautiful. I would recommend coming from Sakura season to see the flowers, and buy food from the markets. However, a lot of the advertising for Hirosaki castle is photoshoped, giving an unrealistic perception of photos you will be able to get of the castle. Additionally, the castle has temporarily been moved off the main wall to perform repairs on the wall.
  • Got here just a bit early for the full cherry blossom bloom, but it was still very beautiful.

Where to stay in Hirosaki

Though the urban sprawl of Hirosaki goes on for quite a way, the center of town where the accommodations can be found remains fairly meager. Next to the main train station, you'll find a set of standard, high-rise hotels, with some offering a few more facilities than others, including spas, pools, and restaurants. Look to the northwest for the more traditional establishments. Next to the castle and the park of cherry blossoms that surrounds it, the accommodations include some charmingly decorated "ryokan" (traditional guesthouses), and a couple of boutiques.
