Hirakata Park, Hirakata

4.1
#1 of 14 in Things to do in Hirakata
Spend the day on a host of rides and attractions at Hirakata Park, the oldest amusement park in the region. Adrenaline junkies will relish the excitement and speed of the site's Red Falcon rollercoaster as it whips around 1,300 m (4,265 ft) of track at a maximum speed of 70 kph (43 mph), while younger kids can enjoy the slightly tamer wooden rollercoaster, ferris wheel, swing rides, and petting zoo. Depending on when you visit, you can take advantage of the seasonal attractions, with swimming pools available in the summer, and ice rinks and the park's "Snow Land" open during the colder months. Put Hirakata Park into our Hirakata holiday planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • I worked long ago! Decreasing in the amusement park in the Kansai region, why the Palm cringes, it remains. Palm cringes brother effect I guess.

  • Palm Park nicknamed Hirakata Park. Does anyone know if the man. A 3 minutes walk from Keihan Hirakata-Koen station, spacious family-friendly amusement in summer pool can be enjoyed.

  • Good stop play the park, this winter to play snow, there are large ski ladders, and summer to the left to swim, and the pool is very clean, the degree of the best in Osaka.

  • Limited space with shade for sitting. Staff make a huge issue out of my small tattoo and made me cover it. But several Japanese had multiply tattoos on display. When I pointed out the disparity the manager claims they probably didn't see the tattoos. All the while a woman with visible tattoo stood right in his sight. He apologized insincerely and did nothing to get the Japanese to cover her tattoo.
  • It is a half hour ride on the Keihan line from yodoyabashi. Then a few minutes walk. Very easy to find. We are here on a Monday and the park is quite empty. Many of the rides are set on the slope of a hill and the view is wonderful. There are numerous roller coaster rides, a nice big playground and no queues for anything. There is also a little zoo area with a few animals. My kids are grade school age and they love it. Buy the unlimited rides pass and they can go again and again. Universal studios is nice for the whole atmosphere but u spend too much time queueing.
  • Great place for children, 5 mins walk from station. We went there on Tuesday and no need to wait for long queue.
  • If you are with kids at Osaka, you MUST go here. It is such a fun amusement park and definitely worth the day pass money. Employees are very friendly, always smiling and they start the rides once there is someone! No need to wait for more people. The scenery is nice and the park is a very good size, you can spend one whole day here. My children really enjoyed the day. So did I. Even though it's a little bit far away from the city, it's a must go if you have kids.
  • A good small amusement park, several rollercoasters and other rides. Good priced day ticket.
