  • When you think of a hike to meditate and to delve into the purest story of the Japan, where you climb the mountains and explore the roads among towering trees and want to put a name is Mount Shosha. It is simply fascinating, from the arrival and travel to foot. When you get to the end beautiful ancient temples are deployed and it seems to be the most that can be, the best part is that, unlike other places much more popular as the same Himeji Castle, here if you can sit or stay in one of the small shrines just to enjoy the space and the silence. Don't you miss it, you will not regret.

  • Very beautiful place and they filmed the Last Samurai here on this location. Be prepared to hike a lot, but well worth when you get up there
  • It is amazing. It is the place where Engyoji, a temple complex with more than a thousand years of history. Engyoji includes many buildings and temples that are spread by the mount, so you walk enough, but it is a ride that we loved. "Maniden" is impressive, we didn't expect what we as well, despite having seen photos. The area of the Temple "Mitsunodo" is also very nice (there was filmed a scene from the movie "The last samurai"). The walk through the forest itself is worth. Highly recommended
