  • Hyakusai-ji Temple is quite old in the temple. At the time of autumnal leaves, pretty crowded. Okay, so there are a few stairs leisurely stroll. Views from climbing on top is beautiful!

  • Hyakusai-ji Temple was a great religious area, Temple alone condition is unknown, but confirmed more than 300 monk, "Please from the same" at least was ruins and temples are said to "風 playrooms". Per year at least twice over is a temple to worship. And this is not a good Walker to visit to the main building of considerable hardship. It is followed by the first Red Gate (main gate) near the body and over 600 m high/low difference 70 m long natural stone Stone Temple. Monk by Nobunaga madness 1000 and also said in the legend and all towers without leaving a trace is the temple was burned down and. And nothing is what one said that profane history's scrap-and-build, but Nobunaga's simply common people from the old waste destroying property, and then set on fire, alone committed mass murder left to posterity, not mistakes. It does not say say scrap and built to demolish buildings of heijo-Kyo and Heian-Kyo was constructed in simply to destroy and kill. Mother nature's course at honnoji Temple burning later, exhausted and in retribution, and so less able and 償eta Nobunaga, Shiga Prefecture and mount Hieizan temples and shrines, towns destroyed. Just a crazy person. This is a place I cannot help feeling resentment every time you visit here it just said that Nobunaga existence itself. Here would be ungodly crowded during foliage season. It is a temple of Temple in 606, shōtoku Taishi yosei was founded.

  • Shiga Prefecture kotoh 606, founder of Prince Shotoku and legend says ancient temple is a national historic site. Is not never in a big temple, halfway up the mountain and rustic feel is nice. Climbing the stone steps, through the Niomon gate and up to the temple is such as a movie or TV series. Sound of the Bell was in our quaint.

  • It was a temple nestled quietly in the quiet, manicured garden. Wisteria flowers are beautiful, soothing sound of sculpin. Nokyo-sho was a note written on the spot, sorry.

  • Garden admission is required, but was in good condition and cedar trees standing are well worth it.

  • In the winter, so many visitors, in a very quiet location. It was too hard just going up the slope. I realized their age.
