Nishihama Beach, Hateruma-jima Taketomi-cho
(4.9/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Clean white sand and the rock-studded sea bed, visible through azure water, make Nishihama Beach the most natural beach on Hateruma Island. An hour away by boat from Ishigaki Island, this 1 km (0.6 mi) stretch of dry white sand and emerald-green water makes the perfect spot for a barefoot walk. You can enjoy the sparkling sea both by snorkeling and swimming. The beach offers showers and vending machines with drinks, but you should bring some food along, as you won't find any restaurants at the beach. You can rent a bike at the port to cycle here, or take a 10-minute walk from Hateruma Port. • I thought beaches home and abroad visited the most beautiful. Not a busy tourist season had enjoyed the sea. In the middle of the slope down to the Beach Island black honey ice cream shop of unlimited's is very good.

  • Among the beaches I've ever seen was no. 1. The ocean is outrageous. Hateruma blue is exceptional. I would go one time and unforgettable beaches. I think, no doubt, but I do need luck to see the nithi beach with gentle waves in the sunny beach.

  • Through the downhill road on the way is just the sugar cane fields to the best beaches! I think transparency in Japan. I went in October, but still hot and humid. From Ishigaki Island might be a day I think location is best!
