Miyazawa Kenji Memorial, Hanamaki

3.4
#1 of 41 in Museums in Iwate Prefecture
Each year, more than 200,000 people visit Miyazawa Kenji Memorial, a museum detailing the extraordinary life and accomplishments of an internationally acclaimed Japanese polymath poet known for his fairy tales. Set in the author’s former home, where he spent his last days teaching agronomy, this fine museum reveals Kenji’s interests and accomplishments as an educator, farmer, scientist, and utopian social reformer. Browse through the author’s original manuscripts and drawings, personal belongings, and library, before trying interactive displays of Kenji’s experiments. Unfortunately, very little of the museum's material has been translated into English. Miyazawa Kenji Memorial is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Hanamaki Edition.

Three years ago, went to the Hall of Fame. Unpopular in the family last year, went to the fairy tale villages of Miyazawa Kenji and daughter hope, has been revisited in the Hall of Fame. Kenji's possessions and manuscripts, hanamaki, nature, other than standard, the mysteries of the universe's "Yamato no (alone in the booth for the picture screen come with narration) tales of Kenji had hoped and my daughter was featured, but instead found a PC when put back to 8 lined up in the back of a cafe. Just click quick view, Kenji's tale begins, their voice is served, so listen with headphones around without worrying about. In the fairy tale world of the music was recorded, but was looking forward to passing. One story is a few minutes from 10 minutes so enjoy 10 minutes. Storybook PC Cafe corner where admission is not needed.

I thought when you come because Miyazawa Kenji to arrive late and had too much time until closing, but speaking of Iwate hanamaki never go. Told of Kenji Miyazawa, a school teacher, but many are leaving the work was in fact what kind of person would not explain it more. To know the history and influence of hope and go into the Hall of Fame is always required. Rain in the wind. I did know what was written in his notebook? I'd always thought that work so far was purposely written clearly hate. You can know that.
