Where to stay in Hamamatsu

Hamamatsu offers a wide selection of mid-range and low budget lodgings, lining both sides of the rail lines and spreading towards the north in Asahicho and Kajimachi. A few four-star options downtown and a number of ryokans offer onsens, while boutique hotels and hostels cluster in the north. An industrial city with a sizeable student population, Hamamatsu has plenty of inexpensive accommodations. Staying in the popular Sunayama Cho area south of the railway station puts you in close proximity to the river and seaside.

  • It is a tourist Highway 301, maisaka-Cho than on the 舞坂 of the old Tokaido Road about 300 meters to the Southwest. "Wakimoto team" as a "base" to sleep in Japan during the Edo period feudal lords and court nobles, government officials, and other ancillary lodging. Wakimoto team is intended to restore it, but feel the history as the town at the time. As the accommodation is not available to commoners during the Edo period Hatagoya (Inn-) seem very unusual building.

  • Benten Island I went just to see. Slowly walk from JR bentenjima station, 10 minutes will take you. There are signs saying "wakimoto team" in the Middle, without hesitation, location. When I arrived, and old buildings. That Honjin was located near seems lost, wakimoto team still remains. Some got in free. Look at the floor plan traveled and how people in the past, the hospitality of people, just imagine was funny. Would you have time please come stop by.
