  • It's all "Taigah Drama" crazy around here and the locals are quick to take advantage of all the hype and rightfully so. Kiga and Hosoe-cho in general, are beautiful places to visit and explore. The people are all incredibly friendly. If you're looking for a small town Japan experience, this would be it. The displays at the checkpoint are accurate for the period and accurately reflect the days of when the old highway would run through this area and travellers would be inspected and also have a place to stop and rest. The Imperial family used to come down this way for summer fishing trips many years ago and has special memories for them.
  • Edo 0/1601 (1601) was established. (Built various theories and) at the Meiji era becoming obsolete. Restore at home and business creation, hosoe-Cho 0/1990 (1990). Passed because it could toll free period of Taiga drama Hall. Recreate the atmosphere of the time, dolls. Some people have taken the clothes in a nearby building rented costumes so.
