Where to stay in Hamamatsu

Hamamatsu offers a wide selection of mid-range and low budget lodgings, lining both sides of the rail lines and spreading towards the north in Asahicho and Kajimachi. A few four-star options downtown and a number of ryokans offer onsens, while boutique hotels and hostels cluster in the north. An industrial city with a sizeable student population, Hamamatsu has plenty of inexpensive accommodations. Staying in the popular Sunayama Cho area south of the railway station puts you in close proximity to the river and seaside.

  • One of the most famous tourist destinations located in Lake Hamana. Parking lot is small, while free car parking available. Maintained trails, see also offers, in its own way. Big Kannon bosatsu sights? From the observation deck at the top where you can enjoy views of Lake Hamana.
