  • Small but special collection of art created in the traditional nihonga style with pigments made from crushed minerals. Good explanation of the style and lovely art across two floors. Excellent view of the lake from the second floor.
  • Lots of different Japanese artists are on display. I especially liked the kaleidoscope exhibit. Nice view of town and the lake. You can see the nearby shrine's torii gate in the lake. Watch the lake cruises come and go.
  • Gorgeous view of the lake and mount Fuji, beautiful display of Nihonga paintings. Neat kaleidoscope exhibit near the cafe. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
  • Beautiful gallery and cafe with superb views. Definitely should be on your list of "must see" in Hakone 10/10
  • Small but excellent collection. Definitely worth the visit.
