(3.8/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Observe the quintessence of post-World War II nihonga (Japanese-style paintings) at Narukawa Art Museum, while taking in the panoramic views of Lake Ashi in the shadow of Mt. Fuji. Over 4,000 works of modern nihonga, collected over a period of 20 years, have a calming effect with their deep resonance and dignified tones. Stroll through the surrounding gardens inhabited by ancient Japanese cedar trees growing up to 40 m (131 ft) in height and dating back thousands of years. • From the gate of the entrance of the Museum towards the mountain was beautiful lenticular, Maple. It is brighter around the autumn feeling. Weather permitting, from the glass-enclosed observation deck ASHI-is found in the beautiful Lake and Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately Mt. Fuji is well covered with clouds could look better.
