Observe the quintessence of post-World War II nihonga (Japanese-style paintings) at Narukawa Art Museum, while taking in the panoramic views of Lake Ashi in the shadow of Mt. Fuji. • 11 months late, narukawa Art Museum with his wife visited this garden maples was stained with red coloured. Had often visited the Museum, but also active duty period, use the long weekend to come during the fall foliage season. Is the exhibition of the Museum of fine arts 'Museum 30th anniversary commemorative special exhibition after World War II painting mountains"and never exhibited in, was pretty impressive. To the staff of the Museum of fine arts "taking permission" and, immediately, with the appearance of the hotel was taken even a piece by and okay to use Flash and hear. Including permanent, including the "Dunhuang Mingsha sand dunes" of Ikuo Hirayama, Yamamoto kyujin "ground blot", so which exhibited many of the painter's masterpiece. In addition, this museum is ASHI-lounge overlooking 1 painting Mount Fuji on the Lake and the surrounding mountains, even on sunny days there is. During the big picture frame blue Reed-Lake and snowcapped Mount Fuji and Red Torii's Entourage did this will overwhelm us express the beauty beyond the paintings not on the balance in the creation of the view. I tried out in the garden of the Museum of fine arts. Small flowers bloom on her October that several are planted and flower just to exert behind the blue lakes. ASHI and from the garden, were of exceptional views of the Lake, too. Had a feeling and that autumn in Hakone where you cut. Overwhelmed by aura gives a picture of the real thing, that impressed even cold yaranu has left the Museum after surrounding maples showed brilliance of assorted seasonal now. Based on the situation, I tried 詠tte to tanka in improvisation. I'm glad if you look. Run ☆ peaks as a symbol of autumn ☆ evening Akane the Maple leaves scattered Lake (sea) to Hakone Hakone autumn Lake (sea) dye, wake even Ikuo and perfection of form and does not favor those who make creative beauty, "narikawa" making "Tun"

  • Saw this museum by chance on a map. Looked at the site. Agreed that we should go look and do not regret nor just. One of the most interesting museums that I visited. Of course there is a wide range of world-famous works of artists, but the work of Japanese masters, exhibited here is incredibly beautiful! About each picture can stand five minutes. She is so beautiful, so fresh to me personally, as for the European "Viewer". There is also a small exhibition of kaleidoscopes. Very interesting, do not pass by. Is on the way to the cafe. Special attention should be paid to the terrace overlooking the Lake, and Fujiyama. Unfortunately in our visit to the weather was cloudy and Fujiyama was not visible, but the view from this was not worse. Strongly recommend to visit! You will be satisfied!

  • The view is great. Nice exhibition with kaleidoscope and Japanese art.
  • Yes its a great place to view Mt Fuji but the real attraction is the museums great collection of Japanese Nihonga paintings. There are some great exhibitions with english language description to give insight into this traditional Japanese technique. Well worth a visit.
  • Relax your self seeing the scenic beauty of mount fuji
  • Very nice place. Very interesting.
  • Great museum. There are escalators that carry you to the entrance of the building which is located on a hill. From the inside you have a great look over the lake and with clear skies you can see Mt. Fuji. The art pieces are also really nice.
