  • We hiked up Mt. Myojingatake coming from Gora Station. It’s a lovely hike, but quite steep in parts and on this humid day, I was sweating a lot. Definitely wear hiking shoes! The path got quite...  more »
  • The views that you get from here after the trip on the cable car are tremendous and outstanding to say the least - it looks kind of artificial as all seems so symmetrical and perfect but oh it was...  more »
  • Started from Sengokuhara, where the bus dropped us off. A clearly marked route - look for brown signs. We found the timings were pretty accurate although we came down a bit quicker. We saw great...  more »
  • Mt. Myojingatake is one of Hakone outer rims. The altitude is lower than Mt. Kamiyama, the highest mountain in Hakone, but there are few high trees on the top and the view is wonderful. There are no buildings such as a shrine or a mountain hut at the summit, and you can enjoy a quiet time early in the morning. Even if this mountain climbs spring, summer, autumn or winter, climbs not only on sunny days but also on fogy days will certainly give you some impression. In spring, raschelling the virgin snow of the unexpected snowfall, in summer love the mountain lily of the ridgeline through the green forest, in autumn feeling the change of the seasons in sunshine birightning Susuki glasses, in winter aboide a stabbing north wind and relaxing with the warmth of the coffee .... It is the best mountain in Hakone.
  • Great hike around 90min up and 70 min down. Bring some snacks to enjoy the view of the Mt. Fuji on the top!
  • I was able to climb happily from Michiyoshi-son. Climbing while holding back the slip at the end because it is muddy by the thaw

  • The top of the mountain is large and has a good view.

  • In fine weather you will see the whole valley of the station and 富士山. The climbing line from Hakone is popular and easy to climb, not steep. From 小田原, there are two main lines from Tsukahara station (70% of the road up to the remaining automobile trail is left climbing through the bush, cows are more correct. Long way) Another way from Daiyuuzan (大雄山) to a bus to Daiyuuzan Saijoji Temple (at about walking , the way down the mountain from the temple is beautiful). These two roads are the longest and if it rains before climbing, it should not go (very slippery and dirty climbing path)
