Visit the historic site of Goryokaku Park, a former fortress in the shape of a five-pointed star. Built in the 1850s, the fort owes its curious shape to Ayasaburo Takeda, who designed it to optimize defence and gun placement. Roam the fort complex, a public park since 1914, and take a relaxing walk along the moat, lined with lush cherry blossom trees. Climb to the top of the 100 m (328 ft) tall observation tower to enjoy panoramic views of the fort and its surroundings.   •  Goryokaku is a park in the country was the scene of the battle of Hakodate special historic goryokaku mark. Before we go to goryokaku Park, was impressed by the beautiful star, goryokaku Tower goryokaku.  And to the goryokaku Park. For cherry blossoms in famous had lots of big cherry blossoms and trees.  Take a look at what beautiful cherry blossoms of the goryokaku Tower in a photo and I thought. Box Museum magistrate's Office is in the heart of the Park, was restored in 2010. The building is, of course, introduced in exhibitions and film restoration is interesting.
